a Defying doctor’s orders to stay away from pork, pasta n’ cheese, I plopped my ass down at Beasts of Bourbon with a side of ribs, mac’n’cheese & slaw, and there, on stage is Karmen Guy singing her heart out with her band MAD JUANA. Her sleek sexy gypsy persona made use of the spacious stage. While Indofunk Satish was held by no such boundaries, playing his trumpet thru the audience dancing tween the tables .

This cafeteria style rib joint, opened in Bed-Sty Brooklyn, has recently been showing off their superb stage sound system with the likes of Sean Kershaw & The New Jack Ramblers, Freedy Johnston and Jumbo Brown. And the food, while it may lead to my untimely demise, was delicious. Down home comfort BBQ is awesome while stoned & diggin’ some of our favorite bands!
