DIDI DELICIOUS made a bouquet of cupcakes that were AMAZING and there was also a BIG cake so that there was more than enough for everyone!
CRAZY MARY followed them with another fun set of Rock that still kept the crowd dancing! Comprised of EMMA Z (BIG SEXY MUSIC) on the vocals and CHARLES on guitar, the Legendary WALTER G. STEDING (ANDY WARHOL) on violin, ARMAND 'Da WIZARD' on bass and NICK on the drums, this band is poised to keep moving forward!
There's a TV show on A&E Network called BAD INK and it features two members of a band from Las Vegas called THE VERMIN! DIRK VERMIN and ROB RUCKUS along with their drummer TURBO were in NYC for the DOU- BLE DOWN SALOON, NYC, Anniversary Bash so they joined in the party with their High energy Punk Rock mixed with that Vegas b/w song bantering that had the crowd cracking up! (And dancing!) All three members of THE VERMIN have FRANK WOOD Tattooed on them!
Next up was RED GRETCHEN with RONNIE WHEELER on guitar, ANNE HUSICK on bass, SHAUNA WESTLAKE on the drums and NANCY POLLACK on guitar! These guys have quickly emerged on the NYC Rock'n'Roll scene to bring new life and fun times to all!

OTTO's SHRUNKEN HEAD has become the "CHUCKIE CHEESE" for ROCK-
'n'ROLL Birthday Celebrations of late! So far this year alone GASS WILD, MATT LANGONE, CHEALSEA AWFUL, CHARLES KIBEL, PHYLLIS ROCHELLE CHARNEY, AMANDA WHITE and CYNDI DAWSON have all had their Birthday Parties at a WIND DOWN SUNDAY at OTTO's! They pick who they'd like to have play and FRANK WOOD (me) tries his best to get them on the bill!
CYNDI DAWSON of THE CYNZ insists that she'll never turn 27 because that's when a lot of the Greats in Rock'n'Roll die! So like famed comedian JACK BENNY (who was forever 39), CYNDI is stuck at 26!
So for her Birthday we started the night off with THE HIPP PIPPS! MATT LANGONE (TRASH MAV- ERICKS, WALDOS and...), KEVIN SHAW (THE BMTs, HUDSON DUSTERS and...) and FRANKIE PIPPS (WHO KILLED BAMBI, THE WEAPONS and...) are a solid old-school Rock'n'Roll band that plays songs that make you want to get up and dance! And that's exactly what the crowd was doing right from the start.
The Birthday Girl and her band THE CYNZ were up next! CYNDI does the singing and HENRY SEIZ the
guitar work with PATRICK on the bass and
ANDREW on the drums, they roared through a
killer set joined by JOHNNY EGGZ (MIGHTY PRAGMATICS, PURPLE PAM & THE FLESH EATERS and...) for a fe tunes! They kept the crowd jumping! CYNDI wanted to go on early so she could relax(?) and enjoy the party!
